Maya Roytman is a first-year MD/MA in Bioethics and Health Policy student at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She received her B.S. from Loyola University Chicago in both Neuroscience and Public Health, along with minors in Bioethics and Spanish Language. She is passionate about clinical ethics and health justice. She completed a biomedical ethics research internship at the Mayo Clinic last summer and is a current Council on Ethical and Judicial Affairs intern at the American Medical Association in Chicago. During college, she was a part of her school’s Bioethics Bowl team and the Interdisciplinary Philosophy and Bioethics Lab. In her free time she loves traveling, attending Broadway shows, and watching movies.
