Alnaw is a graduate of Middlebury College where he majored in Neuroscience, minored in Studio Art, and took Arabic courses to the advanced level. While a student he sat on the board of organizations such as Creating Art Together and Middlebury Geographic Magazine. He completed his thesis in Studio Art and his senior work on Neural Coding. His interests lie at the intersection of Neuroscience, Art & the Humanities. Alnaw enjoys ceramics, watercolor, specialty coffee (as a barista) & picnicking
