Alex Tsalidis

Research Assistant

Alex Tsalidis is a Master of Science in Bioethics candidate at Harvard Medical School. Alex is passionate about the ethics of artificial intelligence and how it can inform policy decisions. She is currently an affiliated researcher at the Ethical Intelligence Lab at Harvard Business School, investigating how AI transparency and explainability impact consumer trust. While at Harvard, Alex co-founded the Student Leaders in AI program, an interdisciplinary initiative supported by the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society, aiming to expose Harvard students working on different facets of AI to new perspectives on use cases, law, ethics, policy, and more. Prior to this, Alex earned a law degree from the University of Cambridge and was a research intern at the Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy at Baylor College of Medicine where she studied medical liability claims connected to AI devices.
